Artemis Women in Action Film Festival Qualifiers
Submit all narrative, animated, documentary FILMS and SCRIPTS featuring women
either starring or co-starring as a physical action character or agent of social change.
We celebrate women in kick ass roles.
Submit all MUSIC in any genre that is a film score, composition, song, or theme song
created by female composers, female led bands, and female solo artists.
FILMS - 40 minutes or longer
SHORTS - up to 40 minutes
SCRIPTS, Features (70-120 pgs) & Pilots (45-60 pgs)

and Withoutabox. Discounts and student submissions are only processed directly through our website.
Submit films, screenplays, Film Scores and music directly to Artemis Women in Action Film Festival right here. We accept DVD's, media files on flash or DVD, and online screeners for preselection. For online screening, please provide the URL with secure streaming. We accept digital script submissions (.pdf or .doc) by email. Have a discount code? Use it when you submit direct!

Submission Type Examples
Narrative films: all genres featuring leading or co-leading women in action or empowerment. i.e.: Terminator 2: Sci-Fi/Action; Aliens: Horror/Action; The Heat: Comedy/Action; and Suffragettes: Drama
Animated films: all film featuring featuring leading or co-leading women in action or empowerment. i.e.: Frozen, Brave, Tangled, and The Croods.
Documentary films: real life stories of women in the armed forces, public service (police force, fire fighters, paramedics, etc.), pro and non-pro sports, political and social activism; basically stories that celebrates women in action or depicts heroic acts.
Screenplays: all genre of feature, TV show or pilot featuring leading or co-leading women in action or empowerment. i.e.: Terminator 2: Sci-Fi/Action; Aliens: Horror/Action; The Heat: Comedy/Action; and Suffragettes: Drama.
